WHAT IS TWA :

TWA is merely an android app but you are not required to create it. One simply has to launch the required PWA site into the android app. The site must be run on the custom tab on Chrome.

HOW TO CREATE AND CONFIGURE TWA IN NOTIFYVISITORS :
NotifyVisitors enables you to create a TWA app with a feasible integration procedure. All you need is to fulfill certain requirements from your end and follow the integration steps. Read further to know more about it.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO CREATE TWA :
1.Firstly ,you need to have a website domain and an app name (example : lite)
Note : Companies generally use the reverse internet domain name to start with the package names, i.e. com.example.xyz
2.You are required to have the following monochrome images size for the splash screen :
- splash.png - 450 x 450px
- splash.png - 300 x 300px
- splash.png - 600 x 600px
- splash.png - 900 x 900px
- splash.png - 1200 x 1200px
- Next, Your app icon must have the following icon size :
- ic_launcher.png 48x48,
- Ic_launcher.png 72x72,
- ic_launcher.png 96x96,
- ic_launcher.png 144x144,
- Ic_launcher.png192x192,
- Ic_launcher.png 512x512
3.Last but not least a color code of the website is required which will be used in the action bar and navigation bar.
Example : statusBar: #FFFFFF (hexadecimal color code)
Once you fulfill all these requirements, NotifyVisitors will enable you to configure and create TWA with some simple integration steps.
WHAT ARE THE INTEGRATION STEPS TO CREATE TWA :
Here are the integration steps to create TWA
- Once you fulfill all the requirements which are mentioned above (color code, splash screen size, etc). NotifyVisitors will create an APK. Now, You can publish your app on the google play store.
- Next, list your app on the play store. Once the authentication is done, Your app will be published and is ready to use for users.
- In order to view the authentication of the app, NotifyVisitors generate an assetlinks.json. Use SHA 256 as a secret key to host in the ./well-known on your server.

- In order to create a TWA, navigate to the NotifyVisitors dashboard> Progressive web app builder.
- Click on Configure PWA/TWA and click on the checkbox option of the TWA app.
Note: You need to fill in all the details for configuring the app such as the App name, start URL, theme color, background color, etc. as shown in the above image.
